Photo of Robin Moulyn, artist
Robin Moulyn, simply put, is an artist through and through.
Growing up in a small town in British Columbia, Canada, she discovered that she had been gifted ADD and dyslexia. These allowed her ability to look at everything from a different perspective than many.
Although Moulyn did all the grown-up things, the childlike artist persisted. Her own children reinspired art exploration and she never looked back. Art, for her, is an ever-present path to discovery.
She knows that each subject has its own life and conveys a different understanding and point of view. For this reason, she will use a variety of mediums or methods, often in combination, to make each work as individual as the subject and illuminate the message of each.
Moulyn has written a book called the “Homemade Art Supplies: An Artists Survival Guide.” In it she relates the importance of remaining open to the use of different products and supplies to become a more resourceful artist.
For Moulyn, art is life, emotion, the relationship of oneself to everything else. Her journey continues to expand and so does the expansion of everything.
