Since it was a hell of a bump, I chose to work on a face I find not only wonderful but also kind and sweet. A face of happiness.
Whenever I go through trials and tribulations, I choose to work on my happiness and gratitude. This helps me to keep my focus and purpose in check.
I have seen this man many times here in Banos Ecuador and he has the most contagious happy smile I know. I like to think the he has a special smile for me and I always smile back. He makes it easy.
The whole time I was painting him I kept enjoying his smile more and more. He was lifting my spirits more and ore. I was in a cafe in town here ( Libreria Vieira Arte-Ilusiones and often I would tell the owner, I just love the people here. She would smile also, agree and fill up my tea cup again for me. I have a good life.
I am thankful and grateful for inspiration that surrounds my like. Thank you all for being here. You are all so very inspirational to me.
