I have been working on the website and the cards or small images. Hence you are not forgotten. I am starting to become a bit of a techno geek, but if anyone has any suggestions marketing, art or otherwise, please keep it friendly, creative language encouraged, contact me and we will chat, mostly I will learn and ask questions or even give suggestions if asked.
I have to say that working with the smaller 5 x 7's are fun and interesting. I am finding that I am doing more illustrative, experimental and having fun with color. I also am working on my drawing.
Now here is the fun thing. I don't like being messy or disorganized in the art department. This means for me to source a new and fun way to create. So this is where I went. Kor I Noor has a colored mechanical pencil set with only 24 colors. This is sad but I am finding leads to increase my stock choices. This means I won't need a pencil sharpener to add color to my drawing, because I LOVE COLOR but hate pencil shavings and the drama of having pencil sharpeners butcher my leads! I have also found Peerless water color paints. This is a way cool thing also. There are these color chips that you can glue to a small fold-able board to create your palette and with a water brush, of you go. Now let me add one more thing. There is the Scrap n Easelette and this is a very nice lap portable easel. And there you are your are, you have a complete plaine aire set ready to go. You can draw and paint and combine them for wonderful art. I am waiting for the Peerless paints with anticipation. I am all about neat tidy and portable and this meets my needs. If you wish to see some demonstrations of Peerless watercolor paint, Jane Davenport does a nice demo on You Tube. Well worth watching if you are wanting a portable art material. Now that I have shamelessly plugged for various products, let me know if you have one that you like. Remember the requirements are portable, tidy, and easy to use, reasonable cost is also important.
I love to people watch and create art at the same time. So between sips of coffee I can create. The coffee is the one vise I am not giving up. I gave up so many for good health but coffee is my friend. Since I am a bit socially awkward it gives me something to do with my hands while chatting. I am not trying to be rude just considerate to my fellow chatters. It also can give us something to chat about. So if you see me with my art kit join in and have a chat.
Oh yeah, one other thing, tap me on the shoulder as I might have the old earbuds in and be listening to some way cool hard style, jump style, trance or rock, maybe even classical or r&b depending on my mood. talk with you all later
