Inktober is an art game/challenge that was created and hosted by illustrator, Jake Parker. (https://www.mrjakeparker.com/inktober-1/)b This challenge is a world wide challenge to all artists for the month of October.
This challenge has some rules: Ink must be used, paper, and theme the drawings using prompts. One other rule is to do a drawing a day and then post it online.
I took up the challenge in 2017 for the first time. I really enjoyed the challenge and I learned a lot about myself as an artist. I hadn't drawn much with pen and ink but I found I loved it and loved the effects. I love that I could rise to the occasion and create new and interesting images. There were a couple of times where I had used some coloured ink but mostly I only had used Payne's grey ink and white ink.
In fact, I loved this challenge so much that I am doing it again for 2018.
