Señor Manuel
This wonderful fellow helped to save my dog's life after she was poisoned. Sometimes there are bad people that want to hurt everything and anything.
This man is a taxi driver her in Baños,Tungurahua, Ecuador. He is a kind and respectful man. I have known him since the day we moved here. For me, he is a part of my life in Ecuador. We never pass one another without saying hello. He truly is a gentleman who loves his town, his family and his job.
His has a firm place in my memories of my life in Ecuador.
One day, someone threw over my fence some poison in meat for my dog to eat. I saw her just a few minutes after she ate the poison as was starting to really suffer. I called one of my favourite taxi drivers, this fellow, and he immediately came to my house. We picked up the dog and drove directly to the vet, one hour away. He was calm, and sure with his driving. He never complained about the dog in his vehicle, he just wanted to help. He was amazing, he was also there to reassure me and helped to calm not only the dog but me as well. We got there safely and quickly.. Because of his prompt and careful driving she was saved by the vet. He is not only a caring driver who cares about his city but he knows everything about this area. He is a wealth of wisdom. I gave him is drawing with a smile and a hug.
