Waiting
I am sure that this man lives in the vicinity of Banos. He was waiting for something, of what I do not know. He had grocery bags full and heavier duty bags are also full and ready to take home. He was sitting quietly, just thinking his private thoughts. He was not a rich man that I know of but he seemed to be a proud man. A man of dignity and of the earth. I am quite sure he was a farmer as his hands were rough from use. I was honoured to be an observer. For me, he is humble, strong, and in the moment. He is an "Unforgettable Face".
I hope to see this man again to give this painting to him but so far no luck.
This paint was created using Derwent water colour paper for water colour pencils A3, and Faber Castel polychromos coloured pencils.
